wavecult began in 2017, with an intention and dream to connect the the Wave community within Australia, infiltrate traditional nightclub settings with emotional soundscapes, and introduce the Wave sound to a wider audience.
We are beyond excited to collaborate with Sickest House to host the first International touring Wave artist to hit Australian shores!

"Hailing from Romford, East London, Kareful laid the foundations of the sound before it even had a name, gaining traction with his unique amalgamation of various electronic styles (including UK Bass, Witch House and Trap) before his debut album ‘Deluge’ solidified him as a spearhead of the genre and an ambassador for the movement. In 2017 Kareful co-founded independent label Liquid Ritual, which continues to develop the genre and the Wave sound, focusing on releases with a harder twist for festivals and night clubs."
YTHO //
Perth-based DJ and Producer YTHO is another influential artist in Wave’s development. Co-producing hugely popular releases on Liquid Ritual with fellow Western Australian, Skeler, and spearheading the club-ready subgenre "Hardwave", YTHO is a formidable producer in his own right, blending the harder sounds of Trap and DNB with the emotionally charged melodies that define Wave as a genre.
