Dan-Neo
As a film critic and filmmaker, Dan-Neo is a firm believer in storytelling. His DJ sets often bring you ups-and-downs by merging different genres across countries and eras, drawing elements from disco, house, techno, dub-step and more. Nonetheless, his musical taste is deeply rooted in those beats and rhythms that embrace a cinematic and cosmic tone.
Dan-Neo honed his skills after he joined Acadana - the best kept secret in Hong Kong - in 2016. Apart from managing parties at Acadana, he regularly plays at different venues and festivals in Hong Kong, such as, 宀 Club, Oma, Social Room, Ping Pong, Pitch and Shi Fu Miz. Dan-Neo's carefully curated sets also brings him to other respected venues across the globe, such as, Oil Club in Shenzhen, Pistil in Seoul, 23 Music Room in Taipei, Noor | Electro in Moscow, Ved Siden Af in Copenhagen. Dan-Neo is also a part of techno collective cipher and its resident DJ.
Konnection
Konnection Born and raised in Hong Kong, Konnection initially got into music through band sound and switched his enthusiasm to electronic music in recent years. However, music has always been a consistent undercurrent throughout his life. Leveraging a diverse range of tastes, Konnection brings you on a sonic trip in the spectrum of speed, fusing the grooves with psychedelic and deep elements by crossing over the genres which leads one to a fresh atmospheric journey.
Finsent Chen
Finsent C is an artist native to Hong Kong, who has seen his sound evolve innumerably since his initial foray into DJing in 2009. Having been a drummer and member of a local band in his formative years, he eventually sought refuge in electronic music; cultivating a sound that can best be described as fluid, and with an emphasis on the hypnotic spectrum of techno. He perceives sets as flowing journeys, which requires time, and an element of patience to achieve.
His music project - Cipher, is a metaphor for his musical direction and vision – 'experiencing' parties that verge on the ritualistic, to which point they have been described as otherworldly.
Artists both locally and internationally continue to be invited to express their various forms of deep, experimental and meditative sounds.
