FREDDY K
Since the ‘90s Alessio Armeni has been tireless campaigning from the dancefloor, defending vinyl, championing young talents and reinforcing the scene from the shadows. You will know him best for his marathon DJ sets and deviant selections.
Moving to Berlin reignited Freddy K’s teenage infatuation with rave. He soon fell in with Homopatik, the former monthly gay event at ://about blank. He became notorious for his epic 10, 14 and 16 hour-long sessions there, playing always strictly vinyl and in a dynamic, party conscious fashion. Freddy K sets are characteristically mercurial and 100% tailored for the dance. He plays a “360°-style of techno,” which can include Soft Cell, WestBam or Bronski Beat—when the timing is just right. He played his first Berghain set in 2013; two years later he was closing the place, keeping the energy levels soaring well into Monday. The last 20 minutes, he says, are the most important. So be sure to stick around till the very end.

Juan Evangelista’s musical style is characterized by a
compelling fusion of classic Techno with dense and archaic rhythms. His sound draws inspiration from the Techno of the 90s and the depths of ambient.
His musical journey began in 2014 when he initiated the underground movement «TCC» in Cordóba with the aim of promoting Techno culture in Argentina. This venture opened doors for him to share the stage with international artists and further develop his artistic skills. Seeking a more diverse scene, he eventually moved to Buenos Aires and later to Barcelona, where he now dedicates most of his time to music production in his studio.
2023 was marked by three great EPs, “El Niño de los Ojos Tristes” on Default Series, the «Dark Matter» EP for Enux Records and a true milestone in his musical path - his brand new “Equilibrium EP” released on Tremsix including a remix by Jonas Kopp.
Juan Evangelista possesses a distinct impetus and groove that define his music, resonating with audiences on the dancefloor. Over the past year, he embarked on three international tours, performing in Colombia, Chile, and Argentina, while also gaining prominence on Berlin lineups and across Europe. His recent USA debut, where he played for Techno Snobs Phoenix and Shift New York, as well at a festival in Mexico City alongside DVS1, filled Evangelista with inspiration and marked a new chapter in his path.
