On January 19, BASSIANI welcomes the Stockholm-based Northern Electronics, which has played a defining role in the history of modern Scandinavian techno. The Labels's uncompromising visions and its dark, melodic, melancholic sonority will be represented by its co-founder, the forward-thinking artist Anthony Linell—a true master of atmospheric and hypnotic grooves. Presenting a mix of ice-cold noise, motorik techno, and power electronics, Ulwhendar—the project led by Anthony Linell and his longtime collaborator, the notorious Swedish producer and co-founder of Northern Electronics, Varg—and delivering an exceptional live performance will be Polar Inertia, one of the most intriguing names in the scene, as it manifests a conceptual universe where sound, monochrome aesthetics, and narratives converge. Joining the label takeover are Nebbieri, a Swedish producer Evigt Mörker with a sound that bounces from melancholia to the deeper, darker depths of driving techno, and Jin Mustafa, who explores questions of personal and collective memory, the influence of technology on perception, and the relationship between real and imagined spaces through sound, moving images, sculpture, and installation. Boya will be returning to head up in Horoom with the true craftsman, Skyra, and the dedicated digger and record collector, Zaqaria.
