The shadows are dark and the waters murky tonight on our dancefloors–bring your most hedonistic selves. Up top, it’s a 1-2-3- punch of artists who storm through the reaches of techno, acid, new wave, goth and all the nooks between. NYC-based Texan DAIYAH has been described as “unexpected, unhinged, and wild” and owns those descriptors with sets that pit experimental productions against industrial drones, while Seattler Sharlese has garnered praise for her encyclopedic knowledge of all that is dark wave and goth which she puts to good use in her astonishing sets. Capping it off, Tresor Resident Bloody Mary enters with an unparalleled energy, bringing a set built upon relentless techno and bright, chaotic drops of acid. Down under, we pass the keys to the brilliant mind behind Paragon’s design, Safwat Riad aka Safcore World. The vibe in the room will echo upstairs, with Jobi, DJ DB and LISAS joining forces with Riad to explore the grittiest club sounds around.
