With Sydney Design 2010 ready for launch, we thought we might give you another little reason to get excited about. Australian INfront have teamed up with design and music double threat Future Classic to see Sydney Design out in style, naturally.
Saturday, August 14th sees the Civic Hotel transform into a gallery space showcasing a collection of works from 15 artists and design studios currently shaking things up, all to the soundtrack of Future Classic’s finest and friends. Guidelines for the exhibition were the theme of music and a black, white and pink color palette in keeping with the Adult Disco identity.
In this unique one off, upstairs will see the alley way host the exhibition with beats by the Future Classic selectors with limited copies of a CD featuring all of the artworks and tracks from the team at Future Classic, for a whole lot of nothing. Downstairs, Saturday night staple Adult Disco awaits to get those design loving derrieres moving, with a special guest to be announced. Needless to say, with Adult Disco’s growing reputation for sneaking in some of contemporary dance music’s movers and shakers to play in the intimate surrounds, best watch this space.
