These two DJs have been inspiring the dancefloor together over the past year, collaborating on several parties and blowing peoples' minds with late-night wizardry.
REFRAKT is a producer and DJ based in Brooklyn, and he's toured in Europe, Asia & Tulum. In his music, REFRAKT layers sounds and melodies into a hypnotic mixture of dark disco, melodic techno, and world beats, transporting the listener through modulations and feedback loops. His latest EP, False Memories, was released by Phisica in January and features remixes from two dark disco giants, BadWolf and Alejandro Molinari.
Chillosophy is a mad scientist of groove, orchestrating with glee as relentless beat creations animate the crowd with boundless dance euphoria. With an ear for compelling rhythms, Chill uses indie dance, psytechno and dark tech house to stitch together a tapestry of compelling sound. Chill is the co-founder of Liminal Collective and organizes psychedelic dance parties around Brooklyn.
Ty, aka. Lonely on the Dancefloor, is a street DJ who can be found all over the city, bringing joy to countless passersby with an impressive range of styles, great musical taste, and slick improvisational instincts. Catch him in KTown, on the Brooklyn Bridge, or even at McCarren Park when the weather's nice. For UTOPIA, Ty will be setting the tone early, uniting the dancefloor together in rhythm and groove.
