Buckle up because we’re venturing into the craggiest corners of the underground with this one. NYC’s Niyah West kicks off up top gently with some immaculate selections of heart-bursting deep house tracks transitioned butter-smooth into raging techno, percolating the rest of the night’s BPM with precision. SF-native and Evil Groove Records co-boss Lindsey Herbert steps up to the plate with her singular style of steering course through heaving techno landscapes while dotting wistful vocals, smashing breaks, and psychedelic jolts along the way. Headliner Headless Horseman, a heavily-shrouded character with releases on Tresor and Kille Kill Records (among others), has been making techno music and evolving his sound for well over 20 years with the depth of his knowledge evident in both live and DJ sets. Expect to be plunged into an icy cold bath of cerebral textures and emotional drops pitted against fiendish techno. Down below Paragon resident TYGAPAW, and Miss Parker foray into an eclectic, but similarly devilish mix of trance, techno, acid, and hardstyle.
