Kicking off 2024 with a "Persian Love: Shab Shod" on Thursday 25th Jan on the Main Stage of Rich Mix, Shoreditch.
Joining Mehmooni London's Milli for a night of Persian musical vibrations is the incredibly talented Sonia Gorji, Iranian Santour player and composer, who blends Western contemporary music with the rich traditions of Persian classical music. Our instruments carry more than just sonic waves, and we can't wait to hear Sonia live on the Rich Mix Main Stage.
ML's Milli is no stranger to Persian Lovin'!! Expect a journey through persian music, from pre-revolutionary pop, funk and psychedelica to the synth-wave and percussive beats that make Iranian house parties so legendary. Expect to dance out of your souls and levitate through your sandals. Bring Your Own Pomegranates, Lavashak, Pesteh, and we'll take care of the rest.
After our sold out night of dancing for Shab e Yalda at The Jago, Dalston, we expect our concert to be similarly in high demand, so please book early to avoid disappointment on the night.
