For our first party of 2024, Mutations are excited to welcome Wes Baggaley, to our home Overdraught, Levenshulme.
A man of eclectic tastes that immediately drew us to booking him (we saw him play at least three different sets at Houghton 2023), Wes joins for an unmissable EBM/Industrial/Post Punk set in the hallowed back room. Wes has vast experience playing across multiple genres and has graced the decks in the legendary booths of Berghain/P Bar, Robert Johnson and NYC Downlow to name a few.
Joining him is Esme. Organiser of the infamous Iconoclast festival; she has been wowing audiences for the past few years with her multi genre vinyl sets. With a historically keen passion for electro, we are excited to see what direction she brings to the turntables.
We are also joined by Etienne Groh, owner of Manchester's best hidden record den Haunted Dancehall, bringing his cavernous knowledge and impeccable selection to Mutations for the first time.
As ever your residents Chernobyl Steve and Deadeyezopened round off the party with trademark mutated flavours, from pumping Italo to slamming proto-trance
