CommonSense Records celebrates its anniversary, seven years of being a label and a cultural platform dedicated to creating events and experiences around Techno music. Seven years of being a bridge that connects different audiences through a common language and art, with prominent Techno exponents from around the world in our residencies and the music we release. This time, we kick off the celebration on January 26th with Alienata.
Alienata: Born in Spain and based in Berlin, she stands out as a sound obsessive with sets spanning a wide range of genres, from dark electro and ACID to IDM, dub, hypnotic, and more. She began her DJ career in 2004. Her entry into the German music scene was through the Homo Elektrik collective in Leipzig, and upon moving to Berlin in 2011, she joined the Killekill label and the Krake festival. Alienata has left her mark in clubs in Berlin, Germany, and worldwide, playing in iconic venues like Fabric and Panorama Bar. Additionally, she launched her own label, Discos Atónicos, in 2017, showcasing works of legendary artists. Her monthly show, Nova Express, on French radio LYL, and collaborations with legends like Dave Clarke and DJ Stingray have solidified her as a respected figure in the international electronic scene.
Femalien: One of the most established DJs in Mexico's underground scene and a discerning artist who takes you on a hypnotic journey with her vibrant rhythms and dynamic sound. Her music makes you feel like you're in another dimension. She is also a producer and co-founder of UARF, a platform for female artists to connect and create a community to support each other's growth and break glass ceilings.
Ricardo Garduno: DJ, producer, and artist born and raised in Mexico, constantly seeking musical inspiration, working on different projects while taking ideas and merging them in his creations, expressing himself in many ways. He is the founder of Illegal Alien Records, one of the most respected Techno labels globally, based in Mexico.
