For the very first PIVOT, we’re delighted to welcome two of electronic music’s most exciting emerging talents, LWS and Debba!
With releases on the likes of Redstone Press, Peder Mannerfelt Produktion, N-Face and his own imprint Matrice Recordings, LWS specializes in leftfield leaning UK techno. His productions have been supported by stalwarts such as Ben UFO, Bambounou, and Surgeon, while numerous guest appearances on Balamii, EH-FM and Clyde Built Radio pay testament to his wizardry behind the decks.
LWS is joined by his fellow Redstone Press affiliate Debba. With recent appearances at Boiler Room London, Boomtown, and Madruga Festival, Debba is a talent that continues to go from strength to strength. His latest, self-released EP ‘Only Just’ typifies his knack for layering UKG-tinged vocals and quivering pads with nimble percussive work and gritty rolling basslines. Keep your ears peeled for his forthcoming EP on Madam X’s ‘Kaizen’ label.
Also appearing is resident AK, who draws on playful explorations of ambient, acid and Chicago house; along with PIVOT co-manager Cicada Ensemble, who supports with a blend of heady, detail-oriented, ambient-techno.
