The second edition of of the Berlin Music Days is right around the corner. From the 3rd until the 6th of November Berlin’s night clubs lead Berlin’s take over the city, for 3 days of Electronic music culture.
Ladies, Gentlman and Electronic music friends,
Berlin’s new Electronic music week, BerMuDa, offers even more goodies for 2010. BerMuDay, BerMuNight and FLY BerMuDa, at Tempelhof Airport, ensures a variety of events to satisfy a wide range of tastes.
BerMuDay: Extensive Day Program
De:Bug Music Technology Day:
Leading Electronic music magazine De:Bug have roped in many major players for their Music Technology Day. Perhaps a deceiving name, this program is spread over two days with workshops, discussions and panels from many of the protagonists from the technological side of the industry. Ableton, Native Instruments and Propellerhead will be representing the software side of thing. Mastering experts Dubplates and Mastering, analog experts, Schneider’s Büro, and synth modeling studio Leaf Audio, as well as a lesson in turning your iPad into a real world controller, will all be covered throughout this unique part of BerMuDay.
Participation is free, but space is limited.

On November 4th, 2010 in Horst Krzbrg Former Frontpage photographer, Tillman Brembs, will be presenting his exhibition of 20 years of Techno history told through the eyes of his camera. Take a trip back into time with photos that tell the story of a then burgeoning subculture that has spread the world over. Presented by one of the most deeply rooted electronic music crew and leading German distributor, Wordandsound, as well as their digital download portal, Whatpeopleplay.
The exhibition begins at 19.00 on November 4th

Booking United:
Bookers United is the largest assembly of National and International booking agencies and agents from the Electronic music field; taking place in November in Berlin at the Berlin Music Days. The brainchild of Patricia Weil, the owner of Berlin based booking agency Wilde Bookings. We unfortunately only have a limited amount of space for this event. Therefore we recommend swift registration with Alma Poric.

Panel-Diskussion at Watergate:
Berlin’s Techno scene and its existence between attractive alternative living, work methods investors and politics.
Sebastian Lange (creative art researcher), Olaf Kretschmer (Berlin Music Week), Raimund Reintjes (MIKZ Club), Klaus Lederer (Die Linke), Steffen Hack (Watergate) discuss a variety of controversial topics regarding increasing gentrification due to Berlin’s seemingly newfound attractiveness. BerMuNIght: All night club programs have been completed!
All clubs have confirmed their lineups for BerMuNight. So many clubs and labels have signed up ensuring that there is something for everyone, every night. Highlights include, label showcases from M_nus at Weekend, the opening of new venue, ‘My Name is Barbarella, as well as further label showcases in Watergate, Ritter Butzke and pre-clubbing at hybrid venue 7000.

On November 5rh, right in time for BerMuDa, the official soundtrack to the festival will be released in a double CD format, CD 1, “Day” and CD 2, “Night” includes some of the most undiscovered pearls of the underground music scene, mixed with that unique Berlin flavor.
