A live electronics show entitled Oto (sound) Synthesis, featuring a live set from NYC-based Fana' (@fana.____ ), a hybrid set showcasing Maro Kariya's new release, and a generative performance by Weather Citizen (@weathercitizen). The show takes place at Periodicals (@periodicals__shop), a magazine shop, and is part of Imbolc, a reclamation of a Gaelic holiday organized by Daniel Sharp (@dshrp). The idea behind the holiday is to celebrate the beginning of spring with art, music, and poetry. Daniel wishes this to be an impetus to utilize the many unused areas within the city of Detroit as places to show and do artistic things. You can read more on their insta.
