FingerPrince is all about that raw house music! Each artist provides unique projects influenced by the original roots and the roster is full of seasoned veterans such as label bosses Lil Mark, Pale People & Bart Ricardo + Rob Mello, Mark Solo, Phonic Crunch and the Detox Twins all making appearances across the first 3 releases.
Lil Mark [Classic / FingerPrince / Music For Freaks]
This man shouldn't really need an introduction, but for those that don't know Mark has been knocking out the good stuff for quite some time.
His DJ career started in Bath & Bristol playing at Karanga & Cafe Blue with things progressing in 1994... Mark met Derrick Carter at London's infamous 'Space' club night run my House Music royalty Kenny Hawkes (RIP) and Luke Solomun. 3 years later he moved to Chicago living with Derrick, Chris Nakuza & Tim Schumaker where he picked up the basics of production and hung out with the likes of Honey Dijon, DJ Sneak and Gemini amongst many others.
They rest the say his history which included tours with Derrick, DJ sets all over the world and countless releases on Baker Street, Classic , Disco 45, Doubledown Recordings, Greenhouse, Leftroom, Music for Freaks and now FingerPrince!
Mark Solo [FingerPrince / Unify Radio]
A product of the awesome Leeds house music scene. Now a London based DJ and Producer, Mark brings his acid house influenced Chicago vibe to FingerPrince, his first track on the label appearing on the Finger Prince Sampler vinyl release and more in the queue.
Also the host of the super Acid & Oddities weekly radio show, Mark is also one of the unique acts available via our Finger Prince Artist management.
Pale People [Buslife / FingerPrince]
Describing himself as a ‘born again house music DJ and Producer” following a temporary break from releasing tracks.
Joe (AKA Pale People) formally returned to the game on the debut release on the label he runs with Mark and Bart. He has previously released on labels including Tom Bone Music, Baker Street Recordings and Paranoid Music and has had a recent remix released on Buslife Recordings.
