It's with greatest pleasure we announce the 2nd Superfreq this winter at Samsara Beach Club, Koh Phanagan, Thailand, bringing a unique flavour of Acid House, Deep Tech & Edgy House Music to the island.
Headlining is Mr.C. Superfreq boss, who's best known as the front man, producer & songwriter for the psychedelic Techno Pop group The Shamen with who he notched up a string of UK top 10 hits including number 1 smash hit Ebeneezer Goode. The Shamen won the Ivor Novello UK songwriters of the year 1992/3. Mr.C was co-owner of the legendary night club in London The End & his Superfreq label & events celebrate being 22 years young in March. Making music as Mr.C & working on various collaborations, 2 of them being our guest DJs for this event.
Next up from London, Superfreq & Give Festival resident Miss C has made recent tunes with both Terry Francis & Acid Cats, setting dancefloors on fire in 2023. Her no nonsense style of DJing is dirty yet funky house & deep tech & all about causing mischief.
Next up we have from Detroit USA, Noel Jackson. Noel formed Hypertone records & is one half of East LA Tek with Mr.C as well as his solo productions on Superfreq. Noel's tracks are crisp, thick, acid techno house monsters with electro sensibilities & his DJ set will blow your mind.
Next we have Radio Rental, another artist making music with Mr.C, but this time as WonkyTonk. Real name Baz Sanders, formerly known as Type 1, Radio Rental will be joining us from Kuala Lumpur to throw down his own style of acid & tech house bangers.
Lastly we have 2 Koh Phangan residents. The first, House music legend, promoter & resident DJ for Peach, the wonderful Graham Gold, who will be dropping a deep tech set & Jon&On who will open up with some delicious House Music.
