Deep House is a genre known for tempos up to 125 BPM, muffled bass lines, generous use of percussion, soft keyboard sounds, ambient sound, and soulful vocals. Among the most interesting representatives of this genre at the moment are Atjazz and Fred Everything, guests of the new Imogen party on January 26.
One of the pioneers of Deep House since the 90s is Atjazz, a British DJ, producer, sound engineer, and owner of the prestigious label of the same name known for its top releases. In addition to Atjazz's productions and collaborations, big names such as Fred Everything, Robert Owens, and Jimpster are also under his wing. Atjazz is also a very prolific remixer who signs successful covers of artists such as Bob Sinclar, Jazzanova, Zed Bias, and Omar. His services are often sought by numerous top vocalists.
Fred Everything, a friend of the club and Imogen Recordings, for whom they have already published, is also returning to Peti Kupe. This native Canadian with a long-term residence in San Francisco has released more than 200 releases on the most prestigious labels in more than 20 years. The nickname Everything has followed him since the beginning of his career because even then he was able to mix everything from disco to techno and even drum'n bass. His records are often in the bags of the biggest DJs, and numerous remixes for famous artists such as Derick Carter, Roy Davis Jr, Brand New Heavies or Atjazz brought him popularity.
These two friends in Kupe are joined by a local duo of friends – Antonio Zuza and Ilija Rudman who will perform together as Imogen Soundsystem. It will also be an opportunity for them to announce the upcoming release of their joint EP, Paloma, on the evening of the best house music.
