- Friends and lovers, WE’RE BACK on Saturday Feb 9th with LOTS of vinyl goodness at Bodyshop Studios! Joining us on this edition of Hausmates will be NYC’s Reade Truth - Reade is an old school DJ, producer and former Sonic Groove mainstay. Emerging on the scene in 1990, Reade has held residencies in key New York underground techno clubs and is known for his mixes that showcase an inimitable and eclectic mesh of influences ranging all the way from Skinny Puppy to Derrick May. Known as a DJ’s DJ, he provides dance floors with intelligent, innovative and often edgy electronic sounds delivered with style. Opening up the night will be Toronto-based selector and producer Milidi. Expect a nifty hand-picked selection of minimal-infused records and a groovy atmosphere. Closing duties will be handled by our very own Mary who will be giving us a taste of his extensive (and delicious) record collection. Date: Friday Feb 9 Time: 10 PM - 5 AM Location: Bodyshop - 302 Geary We kindly ask everyone who will be present to be loving and respectful.
