Lets start the year with a big bang! For the third edition of Tormentum we are joined by no one greater than the godfather of hardcore: Marc Acardipane and his legendary label Planet Phuture! After many years, the frankfurt born icon is finally back where it all began, to once more show the world how it's done. Supported by some of germanys most talented uprising producers and DJ's, this one is for sure for the books.
Marc Acardipane is the creator behind projects such as The Mover, Mescalinum United, Pilldriver, Rave Creator and the co-founder of Planet Core Productions (PCP).
With the 1990 masterpiece, “Mescalinium United - We Have Arrived”, Marc mapped out his sonic blueprints spawning the heavier, hardcore end of the techno spectrum, which build the fundation of what we nowadays know as Hardcore-Techno, Gabber or Hardcore.
Marc’s music has had hundreds of releases on many renowned labels and has been one of the most influential electronic music artists to date. The global impact and influence of his productions was huge and the legacy continues with Acardipane’s new Planet Phuture imprint.
