For this Friday night edition, we welcome trailblazers, dare devils and electrifying vanguards of genre-spanning club music into the house. Opening upstairs is the NYC-based Ukranian DJ Ana B who brings a deepness to her techno selections creating an energy of optimistic exuberance and sets that stir you to your core. Next up, Augustus Muller - of dark wave synth pop duo Boy Harsher - brings some moody, dark tones and textures and minimal beats into the mix. In the lead seat is house and techno legend and pioneer, Joey Beltram. With releases on A Nu-Groove, Tresor, Warp, and Transmat, Beltram is a massively influential artist responsible for shaping the sounds of the early 90s; expect a mind-altering set that brings big old school energy to its peak. Down below Toronto’s Korea Town Acid and Queens’ Kilopatrah Jones fire up dual engine eclectic sets that run from left-field house and techno, experimental IDM, jungle and beyond.
