Tama Sumo and Lakuti’s individual impact on the European electronic scene since the turn of the millennium is nothing to gloss over: between them, a nearly 50 years of experience combined and a deep insight of music and culture. From residencies at Tresor and Berghain / Panorama Bar, acclaimed discographies and founding critical music labels Sud Electronic and Uzuri Recordings, high-profile appearances around the globe; to their devotion to community and equality by platforming Black and Queer artists as well as their own activism outside the scene, the couple is undeniably sentinels of the music scene. On Friday, we are proud to welcome the power duo to the Anteroom, with support from Savage’s own TaoFu.

Tama Sumo và Lakuti đã có ảnh hưởng lớn tới giới nhạc điện tử Châu Âu từ cuối thập kỉ 90 đến nay, mang theo mình hai sự nghiệp dài chìm đắm trong âm nhạc và văn hoá: là những vị trí resident lâu năm ở Tresor và Berghain / Panorama Bar, có tên tại những địa điểm lớn nhất trên thế giới, là các phát hành âm nhạc được đánh giá cao, hay việc thành lập các hãng nhạc quan trọng trong giới như Sud Electronic và Uzuri Recordings. Cặp đôi cũng là những nhà hoạt động tâm huyết, sử dụng nền tảng của mình để thúc đẩy cho bình đẳng và cộng đồng da đen và Queer trong làng âm nhạc quốc tế.
