On April 6th, Muerte Lenta’s “DECODE” makes its return to Bossa Nova Civic Club with a night including some of Brooklyn’s most talented artists specialized in the darker spectrum of techno. Iranian born Kamran Sadeghi will step up to take care of opening duties with their driving and psychedelic modular sound. Sternberg Press, Vinyl Factory, LINE, SUPERPANG, Sacred Bones, Opal Tapes, Apollo Records and Dragon's Eye Recordings are a couple labels Kamran has published releases under. His experience spans back to 2005 and he has played in countless cities such as Paris, Berlin, Boston, D.C. Marseille, Luxembourg, and the list goes on. He has regularly mesmerized dancers with his tasteful and tech savvy approach. Next we have White Material boss, Young Male taking care of our middle slot with a relentless and pummeling beat down of proper techno. As one of NYC’s underground treasures he is frequently featured on lineups at the cities renowned ”BASEMENT”. Quinn’s, “Into Tha Shadows” , (released on White Materials VA 2023) stands as one of his hottest releases showcasing the stripped back yet sturdy 909 drum work the maestro demonstrates in his flavorful and punishing mixes. The up and coming hypnotic techno aficionado, Aöcram, steps up to deliver one of his masterclass sets for our peak time slot. Aöcram’s musical statement in the hypnotic and driving side of techno speaks for itself; performances in cities and institutions such as Berlin’s Tresor and KitKat, Barcelona, New York, Mexico City, Amsterdam, Madrid, Washington DC, Bogota or Toronto among others, reveals a growing high-caliber career. As a producer, Aöcram has releases for some of the world’s most recognized record labels such as Cocoon Recordings, Axis, Illegal Alien and 30D, their discography is continuously being played on high-demand dancefloors from Berlin’s Berghain and Tresor to Tbilisi’s Bassiani and London’s Fabric. Staying true to their own nature, the hidden sound-artist promises a prospering legacy pushing the boundaries of Techno music. Finally, we have our resident Muerte Lenta taking care of closing duties. The Miami native has been consistently captivating dancers with his unique blend of industrial techno, hypnotic techno and EBM. He will close the night out with a very special hypnotizing and psychedelic techno set.
