Sweet Abyss returns this February and we are trying something new! Come through to Bantha Tea on a Sunday evening, for two very special guests from Detroit
Experience the sonic stylings of electroclash sorceress and mechanical maiden of the void Cherriel, who will combine LIVE performance of her own twisted beats with mischievous & estrogenal selections from her arcane musical library! plus cerebral sound journeyer Otodojo supplying a textural maelstrom of mycelial rhythmatic movement in a b2b DJ set with our very own metaphysical maestro Malzof! The two will also be pairing up for a vivid & enthralling display of live visuals, combining both their unique polarities in tandem with audio & video.
Sweet Abyss is an event to center trans/queer folks playing a wide variety of fun, strange, rhythmic sounds to dance or move their minds to. Dance to all kinds of synth-wave, trip hop, dub, disco, electronic explorations, & more.
