TAXI and Capsule Records present… Charlie Dark MBE
We’re throwing a party this April with our friends at Capsule Records to celebrate their 1st birthday - and this time we’re pulling out all the stops. Expect the usual soul tinged disco, house and broken beat in a brand new intimate club with a serious sound system.
We have invited one of our heroes - heavyweight selector DJ Charlie Dark (MBE) - to join us on the night, playing from 10pm-2am with support from TAXI.
Charlie’s energising sets, mostly vinyl only, are known for their eclecticism, ranging from Dub to Disco, House, Funk, Soul Reggae, African gems and much more.
His back-2-back sets with Mr Scruff at @weoutherefest are the stuff of legend, and he also hosts a regular show on @nts_radio. We can’t wait to welcome Charlie back to Brighton after a long hiatus.
