On Thursday the 28th of March (Good Friday eve), ISU TAKI is thrilled to host internationally renowned DJ Martha van Straaten, coming all the way from Berlin.
The sound of Martha van Straaten (Laut & Luise, Berlin) can be described as the patchwork of a thousand joyful days in the sun. With fond love for colorful tunes from all over the world, she blends the musical treasures she discovers on her neverending journey. When travelling to one of her shining performances, she dives deep into the local culture and absorbs the patterns, habits and sensual sensations of her surroundings just to translate all of these well-collected influences into a multi-ethnic collage of sound.
Martha van Straaten truly is a bright star in her genre: She brought her sound to countless countries on all five continents, happily performing in small-town clubs as well as on the main stages of this planet's biggest festivals, only to leaving behind a most delighted audience.

Alongside Martha van Straaten, local legend MOONTIDE, who has been opening the way for the organic electronic music scene in Australia for over a decade, will be in charge of the support act.
MOONTIDE is the solo project of Byron Bay-based multi-instrumentalist and DJ Louis Tobin. He has built a name globally for his eclectic DJ sets, not bound by one tempo or a specific genre, but intrinsically linking the various cultures he has come across in his travels. Louis (on his own or with his band) has performed at leading festivals across the world including Strawberry Fields, Eclipse Festival (USA), Shipwrecked (NZ), Let Them Eat
Cake, Air Festival (IND), and Rainbow Serpent to name a few.
He has supported tours for international acts including Nicola Cruz, Stavroz, Tamikrest, Rampue, Viken Arman, and many others.

The warm-up DJ set will be in charge of ISU TAKI residents Otorongo B2B Cuerpo Negro.
