Flat White Records is making its debut in Germany with their first event in the B. The night will showcase performances by alumni such as Last Nubian and Brine, along with the label boss, Flat White Chris, promising an evening of the highest standard.

LAST NUBIAN - Over the past few years Last Nubian (real name Tre Wright) has been quietly making a name for himself with his unique explorations into the worlds of House, Broken Beat and now recently the live performances. Wright grew up with classic UK club music soundtracking everyday life, absorbing everything from Grime, Garage, Funky House to Reggae through family, friends.
Since then, Last Nubian has released a handful of crucial EPs on independent labels like Tiffs Joints, Woop Records and Flat White Records, for whom his Ghetto Child EP received gushing support from Pete Tong on Radio One, Mixmag and many more.
The beginning of 2023 saw Last Nubians first independent release of the EP titled "We Got There First", a momentous 6-track EP that bridges the gap between broken beat, house and jazz, etching its mark as one of the most noteworthy projects to be released in 2023 so far. As a DJ, Last Nubian holds down a residency on South London online station Balamii, where he can be caught playing everything from dusty jazz, funk, soul and hip-hop right through to freshly released club sounds.
BRINE - Brine is a producer based in Bologna, Italy who has spent the last decade crafting a wide variety of
dance music that often blurs the lines between between r&b, house music, electro and acid mixed
with finesse. As a DJ his formative years were spent in London, playing at hot spots like Egg London,
later at San Francisco’s Monarch & F8 nightclub, Bonobo club in Tokyo. He recently did a tour in the
states playing at Apollo Studio & Milagrosa in NYC and many other spots in Miami during “Art Basel”.
With a heavy knowledge of jazz and a healthy lust for dreamy Balearic grooves, Brine blends it all from
his secret laboratory known as Tree House Studios. Out on the road he is always hunting for rare
records and exploring new jams to drop on your ears. His smooth & natural ability to move a packed
dance floor of any kind makes him as exciting on the turntables as he is in the studio.

FLAT WHITE CHRIS - a multi-talented individual hailing from Leicester, UK, who wears many hats as a DJ, Label Owner, and Producer. With an impressive track record of holding residencies in major cities like London, Birmingham, Manchester, and his hometown Leicester, Chris has honed a tested formula for making dance floors come alive.
Driven by a profound passion for collecting records, Chris boasts an extensive collection that serves as a testament to his musical dedication. Unpredictably exciting, his sets keep the crowd guessing, traversing genres from rare Funk and Soul to pumping UK Garage, Techno, and his preferred realm, House Music – as long as it grooves, it has a place in his sets.
Recent events have featured Chris as a reliable support act for renowned artists such as Artwork, Detroit Swindle, Jeremy Underground, Horse Meat Disco, Ross From Friends, Jimpster, Hidden Spheres, Intr0beatz, DJ Yoda, PBR Streetgang, and Shapeshifters, among others.
Beyond the turntables, Chris is the creative force behind Flat White Records, an online shop, and record label. Since its inception in 2016, FWR has been a hub for record enthusiasts, launching as a label in 2018. With eleven releases under its belt, the label showcases talents like Jacques Renault, Garrett David, Felipe Gordon, Last Nubian, Brine, Jonna, Paul Rudder, Danvers, Hurlee, Scruscru and The Last Trip To Gandahar, along with Chris himself. The label champions emerging artists globally, as well as local talent from Leicester City and the UK. Gilles Peterson on BBC Radio 6 Music has featured their releases, along with Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1. Recognised publications such as Dj Mag and Mixmag have also highlighted their work.
In October 2018, Chris introduced Flat White Fridays, his label night in Leicester, which quickly gained acclaim. Chris's 6+ hour vinyl sets have built a devoted following in less than a year. Monthly bookings have featured and continue to include artists such as Felipe Gordon, Kassian, Cleanfield, Last Nubian, City Fly Records, The Groove Stage and Slothboogie.
