An artist with minimal online presence, Commodo is one of a rare few who make waves through the strength of their music alone. He builds bass-focused beats with soul and substance that never perpetuate a formula, distancing himself from contemporaries with ingenious sampling and sound design influenced by his long-time affinity with the vibrancy of hip-hop. It’s a long-time overdue visit is least what we can say.
A man of few words, German producer Danny Scrilla prefers to let his music speak for itself. As a selector, his exceptional taste can be observed through his DJ sets – exploiting slow and halftime tempos, with a sweet combination of deep and dark sounds. His versatility to command a dancefloor expands through his love for UK Garage, Dub, Reggae, Dancehall and Jungle.
Producer & vocalist Amy Kisnorbo returns to her UK roots, landing in Bristol in 2020 having spent the previous 5 years honing her DJ skills & playing out under her moniker Alchemist in Australia. Amy has dropped her club-focused EP 'Verb Works' on Sam Binga's PNPL label, which gained support from the likes of LCY, Stringray, Jossy Mitsu, Borai, and many more. Expect electro, dubstep, grime & more.
Producer and a long-time friend DJ Detox is also debuting at The Mine with his live set. Leipzig’s DJ Detox brought out his first extended player of breaks & future hardcore on R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings, has been releasing music across various labels during recent years and has an EP forthcoming on DNO Records.
