After the continued success of our previous Warm Hug events, we are thrilled to announce the next one taking place on March 8th at The Bath House in Hackney Wick.

A Warm Hug is a group listening experience within a cosy safe space filled with rugs, bean bags, cushions and blankets to allow for maximum levels of physical comfort.
The music explores ambient, drone and electronica, but always come with an open mind, as you may very well find youRself absorbed in a trance of experimental soundscapes, and have no idea how you ended up there; this is the beauty and freedom of A Warm Hug.
The space is fully blacked out, and very minimal candle light is used to create a soft and soothing ambience. This is an enviroNment that allows people to fully immerse themselves in the music without external distractions. The space promotes stillness, calmness, and reflection and seeks to harness the healing powers that electronic music can offer.
IMPORTANT
Please make sure you fully understand the nature of this event before committing to it.
once the music has started, Please keep talking to an absolute minimum, and if you do need to communicate, please whisper or ideally don’t talk at all.
Be mindful that a lot of people will be entering into deep meditative states and It’s hard to close your mind down and fully absorb the music and environment while people next to you are chatting
Please respect the space and what we are trying to achieve inside, save the chat for before or after the event.
EVENT DETAILS -
6PM - 7.30PM - Pre-drinks, catch up with mates, find your spot in the space, get comfortable and settle in for the journey ahead.
7.30PM - 9.30pm ish... (maybe later) Aidan Doherty.
End of music - 11PM - decompression / reflection
PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME, WE WOULD APPRECIATE IF EVERYONE CAN BE INSIDE BY 7.20PM AT THE LATEST TO AVOID DISTURBING OTHER LISTENERS ONCE THE SESSION HAS BEGAN.
Although we do have a number of bean bags and cushions, it’s physically impossible to provide enough for everyone, so please feel free to bring your own personal comfort items if you like (blanket, chair, cushion, bean bag etc). The floor space will be covered in rugs, so shoes off is encouraged if possible.
Please don't bring drinks as the venue run their own bar and cafe. The Bath House is an amazing community space, please support them as much as you can.
This is a limited cap event and may sell out.
