NY-東京発のPACIFIC MODEがUKからAnzとUSからAkanbiを招き、3/23土WWW & WWWβにてクラブナイトを開催！
昨年10月に初の野外パーティを開催したNY-東京発のPACIFIC MODEによるクラブナイトがUKからAnzとUSからAkanbiを招き開催。
今回はマンチェスターはUKガラージ、ブレイクス、エレクトロ、ジャングルを自在に操り、フロアをポジティブなスマイルで包むAnz、NYはニューレイヴ世代を率いる愛溢れるアンダーグラウンドパーティ、GROOVY GROOVYからAkanbiが共に初来日。
WWWフロアのオープニングには、リディムを中心にレベルミュージックをスピンするセレクターOG Militant B、熱狂的な盛り上がりを見せたBoiler Roomの記憶も新しいFullhouseからSamoがクロージングを担当。そしてスペシャルゲストとしてAmapi Nightがダンサーと共に熱いバイブスを送る。WWWβには土着的なサウンドを半速から倍速に操るmoge!のオープニングセット、Tamanaramenからシンガー／プロデューサーの妹Pikamのソロdjプロジェクトfiat lux、UKガラージ, ベースやクラシックなハウスを鍛錬された知識とテクニックで繋ぐヴァイナルDJのFrankie $、京都でオルタナティヴ・パーティMAVEを主催するntank、PACIFIC MODEにレギュラー出演するFLATTOPのYELLOWUHURUが登場する。

世界的に著名なクラブでのパーティやGlastonbury, DC10, Fabric, Panorama Bar, Primavera, Dour, Pukkelpop, Sonarなどのフェスティバル、Boiler Room SeoulやSouth Londonに出演し、2023年にはMOBO awardにノミネートされたプロデューサー/DJのAnzは、深く掘り続け、より広く微笑み、その封を以前にも増して解いている。彼女はUKの豊かな遺産でもあるレイブの枠を越えた楽曲を誇らしく追い求め、ハイエナジーなミックススタイルを向上し続けている。テッキーな4つ打ちやクラシックアシッドカットをいとも簡単にガレージや両手が上がってしまうブレークビーツと繋いでいくミックスは、大西洋のサウンドシステムの感性を引き立て、入れてくる完璧な変化球は長年彼女のセットの特徴である。
6年目を迎える彼女の愛されるNTSのレジデンシーと、3年目のマンチェスターでのAPCパーティの間には、2023年のハイライトとして、The White HotelでのオールナイトロングデビューとCircoloco, Meltといったパーティ 、またDekmantelでのSpecial RequestとのクロージングB2Bセット、初のUSツアー、2枚目となるHessle Audioからの見事なリリースClearly Rushing、そして８年目となる彼女の有名なSpring/Summerダブ・プロダクション・ミックスのリリースが含まれる。常に前を向き、2024年以降も、設立間もない彼女のレーベルのOTMIからのリリースやたくさんのまだ明かされていないプランが溢れている。そんな状況をAnzが自身非常に楽しんでいて、それを見ることができるだろう。
After years of shows at internationally renowned clubs and festivals like Glastonbury, DC10, Fabric, Panorama Bar, Primavera, Dour, Pukkelpop and Sonar (alongside several Boiler Room appearances from Seoul to South London), 2023 has seen MOBO award-nominated producer and DJ Anz digging deeper, smiling wider and pushing the envelope even further than before. She continues to refine her high-energy mixing style, proudly tracing the tracks between the UK’s rich heritage in rave and beyond.
Techie 4x4 rollers and classic acid cuts effortlessly splice with speed garage and hands-in-the-air breakbeats, complimenting the transatlantic soundsystem sensibilities and perfectly pitched curveballs that have long been a hallmark of her sets.
Between her much loved NTS residency heading into its 6th year and the 3rd year of her Manchester APC parties, 2023 highlights include properly bonkers scenes at her all-night-long debut at The White Hotel, standout sets at Circoloco, Melt, and that Dekmantel closing b2b with Special Request, her first US tour, a second barnstorming Hessle Audio release with ‘Clearly Rushing’ and an extra special 8th year of her celebrated Spring/Summer Dubs production mixes. Always looking forward, there are as-yet top-secret plans in the works for 2024 and beyond - including fresh heat on her nascent OTMI label and much more. Anz is still having loads of fun, and it shows.

Akanbi is a fountain of energy whose passion and enthusiasm for music is undiluted and unmatched. He brings a focused intention to the community, tapping into the spiritual frequencies that go beyond the surface.
Akanbi is heading a new generation of dedicated ravers in New York City. Raised in Lagos, Nigeria, with limited access to the internet but a huge thirst for new music, Akanbi moved to NYC in 2010 and immersed himself head on into every corner of dance music, as a serious dancer and, eventually, a DJ and rave activator. He’s cultivated his unique style of DJing that delivers an intentional blend of freak-out boogie music, sensual rollers, whip-crack bangers, insistent percussion, afrobeat goodness, deep thumping low frequencies & slow-burning experimental descents. In 2014, he started New York City's GROOVY GROOVY party - a judgment-free atmosphere for wild dance floors, spiritual, mental & physical rejuvenation, radical politics, and a dose of undeniably rocking talent. Akanbi has made an impression with visionary sets at Sustain Release, Nowadays & Public Records, and internationally at the legendary soundsystem function like Wax Treatment, Tresor, Berghain/Panorama Bar, Corsica Studios, Boiler Room x Primavera Sound Barcelona, Dekmantel’s Lente Kabinet & Selectors Festivals and more across Europe & the United Kingdom.
