Dystopische Cyberpunk-Ästhetik trifft auf unterkühlten Synthwave, maskuline Electronic Body Music, Italo und Techno - mit BITE hat Phase Fatale seit 2018 eine Plattform für Musiker*innen geschaffen, die das Erbe der 80er Jahre mit den Produktionsmethoden von heute fortschreiben. Für die BITE Nite auf beiden Floors hat Phase Fatale, der heute zusammen mit Pablo Bozzi unter ihrem Italo-Body-Projektnamen Soft Crash auflegen wird, sowohl Label-Acts wie Unhuman als auch befreundete DJs wie The Hacker eingeladen. Schwefelgelb ist ein Berliner Techno-Duo, das seit Anfang der 2000er Jahre aktiv ist und mit seiner Dahinter Das Gesicht EP 2017 einen Genre- Klassiker auf dem Label aufnahme + wiedergabe veröffentlicht hat. Ihre energiegeladenen Live- Sets werden von Bewusstsein verändernden Stroboskopgewittern befeuert. Ebenfalls live dabei ist der kolumbianische Produzent Faunes Efe alias Filmmaker. Seine rauen Post-Punk meets EBM-Tracks hat er auf Labels wie Opal Tapes und Veyl veröffentlicht.
Dystopian cyberpunk aesthetics meet chilled synthwave, masculine EBM, Italo and techno – since 2018, Hayden Payne aka Phase Fatale has been running BITE as a platform for musicians who continue the legacy of the 80s with the production methods of today. For the BITE Night on both floors, Payne will be DJing with Pablo Bozzi under their Italo body music alias Soft Crash along with label acts such as Unhuman as well as DJ friends such as The Hacker. Active since the early 00s, Schwefelgelb is a Berlin techno duo who released a classic on the label aufnahme + wiedergabe in 2017 with their Dahinter Das Gesicht EP. Their energetic live sets are fueled by storms of mind-altering strobelight. Also performing live is Colombian producer Faunes Efe aka Filmmaker, who has released his raw post-punk-meets-EBM tracks on labels such as Opal Tapes and Veyl.
