Spring is coming and I’ve sprung into the garden of raving with a flower power dimension blooming on Friday, March 22nd.
Sweet and aromatic is *Mohajer,* a Swedish-Persian import coming from Berlin who is packed with groovy techno, driving trance, and a touch of house. Accompanying this Fast Forward hunni is *Sepehr,* a budding Persian-American who is bright and electrifying with notes of haute electro, aphrodisiac acid, and off-kilter house; *Sekucci,* a midwest transplant who brings a futuristic take of techno to the forefront; and alas, Softee rezzie and boss, *Samuel Fish,* who will bring the heat to make the garden bloom.

*Mohajer* doesn’t just read the room, she galvanizes it. Hailing from Gothenburg, the Swedish-Persian DJ Mohajer has been honing her high-energy sound in Berlin for over a decade. From Berghain to Bassiani, to London’s FOLD, Mohajer’s unique dynamism manifests in an eclectic blend of groovy techno, tribal house and driving trance—united by the innate percussive affinity she attributes to her Persian roots.
A member of Copenhagen’s Fast Forward agency and label, Mohajer is set to release an upcoming solo EP this year, building on the momentum of her two releases last year and making a searing contribution to Mala Junta’s 2023 Amniote Editions compilation and Forward Fundraiser Compilation and the EP with Lawrence Lee called 'Temporal Spell' on Nene H’s label UMAY. Mohajer is also the co-founder and resident of queer party series mp3, aiming to bring a sense of intimacy back to Berlin's underground scene.

*Sepehr* is a sonic maverick, DJ, live act, and producer originally from the Bay Area and now based in NYC. A frequent collaborator of Dark Entries records, he released his debut LP “Shaytoon” through their imprint in 2020. His DJ sets can range from off-kilter house and psychedelic techno to haute electro, aphrodisiac acid, and freaky jakbeat music. In late 2017, he also began performing live PA sets, sonically ranging from potent drum cocktails to psychedelic and oxygenated soundscapes. He is involved in various projects with a range of sonic and conceptual influences and makes music that reflects the erratic nature of the modern world, enjoying disintegrating and destroying dance music tropes through bizarre and wonderful sound potions. Some of his recent ventures include a collaborative EP with Steffi, the launch of his Shaytoon label, and a collaborative project with Kasra V, Flower Storm.

Born and bred in Kansas City, Missouri, *Sekucci* is an architectural designer turned DJ whose journey through Europe's rave culture ignited their passion for music. While interning in Paris, they stumbled upon techno, sparking weekend adventures through the underground scenes of Paris, Berlin, and London. In 2019, Sekucci moved to New York, where Brooklyn's vibrant music community welcomed them into the fold. Sekucci's sets are described as genre-bending, blending high energy, pulsating percussive elements, and chaotic blends rooted in emotion and introspection. This unique blend of techno, house, R&B, hip-hop, and experimental sounds has positioned them as a rising star in the NYC scene.
