Tokyo-based label Diskotopia teams up with Brazilian label 40% Foda/Maneiríssimo for a joint event that also doubles up as a release party for Fujimoto Tetsuro and RGL’s exciting new split EP Bring Me / Destiny released March 22nd.
The Diskotopia label is known for releasing a diverse range of music from artists such as SeekersInternational, Wally Badarou, Memotone, Visionist, Rabit, Greeen Linez, Hyetal… as well as from label heads A Taut Line and BD1982.
40% Foda/Maneiríssimo have made huge waves in the underground experimental house and DIY electronic music scene for over the last decade with excellent releases from Zopelar, DJ Guerrinha, Akira S and more. This time label head Pessoas Que Eu Conheço is joining especially from Sao Paulo.
Expect a broad range of sounds from off-kilter house and electronic music to post-punk, jazz-fusion, neo-soul, dub, jungle, trip-hop, city pop, balearic, kankyo ongaku, and more.
Plus, Debris has indisputably some of the best cocktails you’ll get in any club in Tokyo.
