Over the rough course of history, “time” has been a primary field of study and concern. Track it, repeat it, loop it. Delineate it; manipulate it; bend it. It’s a material both historians and deejays rely on, quite frankly, in order to understand what happened, what is happening, and what could happen. And while measuring time is often an arbitrary act, it’s something so many of us do in order to see and know where we came from and where we’re going.
After ten years of hosting events, releasing records, launching merchandise, and being heard across the known universe, Acid Camp is celebrating the past decade of mixing, mastering, and crafting space. The lineup includes Supernatural’s Naygod and The Bunker’s Lauren Flax alongside Acid Camp mainstays Deep Dark Blue, Ms. Ed, and Moka. Pizza will be provided by LA-based food connoisseur Evy Bround alongside nonalcoholic smoothies from Lauren Slusser (aka That Smoothie Bitch).
The record label is also celebrating its new compilation release of 35 artists out April 6, 2024. The release includes new tracks from artists legendary to the label from Eric Cloutier and Jeremiah Chiu to 25 musicians debuting on Acid Camp for the first time, including Abby Echiverri, Bézier, Force Placement, and more.
The magic of building community, space, and time after all these years is something worth dancing to. Come on in.
