For the walls to become a sacred wonderland of (self-)discovery, it must nurture a space where all identities can exist and flourish. Under the Utrecht sky, KABUL à GoGo will stand up for you, listen to you and make space for you. Through honesty, kindness and exploration, we dare to dream of a space that challenges the status quo and that grows with its people.
Inspired by the resilience and beauty of Afghan culture, KABUL à GoGo is more than a club—it's a cultural haven where the past, present and future merge into a world celebrating diversity in its broadest sense. Imagine a realm where the Utrecht night comes alive in the most enchanting ways. A place where food, music and dance will spark meaningful connections and conversations, and foster a community.
At KABUL à GoGo, our vision is inspired by Kites and Kite Fighting from Afghanistan, "Gudiparan Bazi”. It is more than just a game; much like electronic music and dance history, it's a social event that brings people together, transcending age, social and economic boundaries.
Whether it’s escapism through dancing the night away or the simple act of sending a kite into the sky, both are powerful symbols of liberation, individuality, reflecting the aspiration to break free from the constraints of earthly troubles and shaking off the gravity of difficult circumstances. Transcending its status as a mere hobby or cultural activity; dancing and kite fighting offer a glimpse of freedom, hope and resistance against suppression. No one is free until everyone is free.
