To celebrate 2 whole years of vEneno, we’re hosting the debut of Spanish DJ/MC BRAVA and the return of UK based DJ/Producer Manuka Honey, alongside Veneno mamas Ana Luisa & Sofia Fly, our fam Didicious, and vogue performances by Solar & Bubbles! All hosted by Fer & Donny Vega.
Marissa Malik aka Manuka Honey brings chaos, sensuality and ecstatic motion to her productions and selections. As a DJ, producer, multi-disciplinary artist, professional astrologer and self-proclaimed "unhinged, hostile girl", she circles club music's most compelling fringes. In just a few short years, she's cultivated an idiosyncratic sound that's shuttled her from continent to continent, assembling a tight catalog of EPs, remixes and singles that harness the energy of Latin-American and Caribbean dance sounds, infusing it into radical new structures. She's animated by the complex alchemy of the dancefloor, and as likely to reference experimental sounds as she is cumbia or dembow.
BRAVA is a DJ/MC and vocalist from Spain known for her extra high-energy hybrid sets that span DJing, MCing, performance and dance. Her genre-bending sets seamlessly mix a wide range of bassy-heavy, percussive genres spanning dancehall, dembow, speed garage, UK bass, grime, trap, jungle and more.
