3.14
3.14 is the electronic music project of Alex π, Greek born and Berlin based dj and producer. Record label co-founder of 'Modal Analysis' and the mind behind the Pi Electronics label and event series, the aesthetics of the ’three-one-four' music ranges from Industrial, techno, EBM,
electro to ambient, experimental and noise. His unique production style has been hosted by
record labels such as: CLFT, Mutant Series (TripaliumCorp), Soil Records, AMOK Tapes,
Khemia, MORD Records, Killekill (the29NOV Films) as well as his own imprint Pi Electronics
to name a few.
Alex began in 2007, with regular dj performances at underground parties of his hometown
Athens, Greece. Being involved in the organisation of local events, he quickly managed to
make a name for his self among the new generation of up and coming djs in Greece. In 2012
he co-founded the Athens record label ‘Modal Analysis’ along with fellow artists Kondaktor
and ANFS, which proved to become the platform introducing the emerging techno sound of
the time, with particular focus on promoting Greek producers abroad.
In 2013 he relocated to Berlin and the year after he founded the techno record label and
event series ‘Pi Electronics’, as a leading member of the ‘π’ collective. The label gained
particular reputation due to its cross-genre music curation and label roster, while the π event
series hosted 41 events in Berlin and Athens between 2014 and 2019 at venues such as:
Arena Club, OHM Berlin, About Blank, Six DOGS, Temple Club, Astron Bar, Romantso and
more.
During the years of the pandemic, 3.14 and his Pi Electronics label joined the Berlin collective
‘Club Simulator’ along with prominent Berlin labels: ‘Bite Records’, ‘Fleisch Records’,
‘Instruments of Discipline’ and ‘LiberNull Berlin’, in order to stay active in such a challenging
time for musicians.
ANFS
ANFS is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Athens, being involved in various
projects such as the record labels Vanila, Modal Analysis and being also the one half of the
music groups, Vofa and Noor 1.
Marco Yu
Known for his vigorous techno sets, Marco’s DJ repertoire also includes house, minimal and electro. Besides, he produces with modular synthesizers and plays modular live sets. As a co-founder of the established collective, Utopia Hong Kong, Marco and his teammates have successfully nurtured the city’s ever evolving electronic music scene through an array of parties in Hong Kong and across Asia. In the meantime, Marco has been promoting heavier techno sounds through his event series concept TRI. Featuring deep and experimental sounds, TRI assembles series of rave verging on the edge, exploring the possibility of contemporary techno. Marco has been DJing at various electronic music clubs including Mihn, Oma, and Social Room (Hong Kong), Oil (Shenzhen), Lantern (Beijing), Savage (Hanoi), as well as music festivals like Sonar, Wonderfruit, Shi Fu Miz – Boiler Room and among others.
Yung
Inspired by her classical piano and percussion training, Yung's musical style is shaped by an admiration for impressionist compositions that evoke moods through tone color, atmospheric arrangements and fluidity. Stepping into the DJ realm, she is drawn to deep, industrial techno combined with melodic rhythms and ethereal sounds.
