ARI GOLDMAN (WORLD BUILDING/BEAUTIFUL SWIMMERS) - Sounds good is proud to present D.C. native, World Building label boss & one half of Beautiful Swimmers, Ari Goldman. Founded in 2016, World Building, with distribution from PPU, have meticulously re-released a string of choice selections including the stunning Dreamscape - Welcome To Our New Age House and the dreamy Azura - Theme From Azura. Ari has 15+ years in the DJ biz, affiliations with heavyweight record stores Earcave & Joint Custody and in his spare time has been known to tear a hole in a dancefloor... and regarding Beautiful Swimmers, you already know! ;)
GRIPBUSTER TY (GRIPBUSTER/MODERN ART) - Formerly hailing from Toronto, Ty is one half of digging/DJ crew Modern Art along with his brother Cal C. He runs an online record shop called Gripbuster that specializes in rare, obscure & under the radar dance records; the shop has also been known to make a t-shirt and release a 7" or two... The MA/Gripbuster boys are known for rocking a variety of styles in the international/island/house/techno/rap department, sprinkled with sample box drops and leftfield selections all in a Modern Art stylie :)
Sounds Goods is excited to present these two in a B2B setting for an evening of genre-hopping, a few curveballs, and perhaps a thing or two you've never heard before - geared towards an adventurous dancefloor!
