- Genre allegiance has no place tonight, as we venture through an open plane of the most heart-palpitating club sounds, culled from all space and time. Opening the top is NYC’s Joey Quinones, a DJ who has been integral to the vibrancy of the city’s queer dance scene with his emotive sets rooted in left-leaning, full-throttle techno dotted with wild samples and surprising vocals. Steaming ahead we welcome back Makadsi, the multi-hyphenate DJ who spins genre-agnostic sets dappled with traditional vocalizations and pop dips to hypnotic effect. Finally, one of Detroit’s finest, Carlos Souffront, closes it down. A regular of the Interdimensional Transmissions parties and member of the first line up of the iconic No Way Back, Souffront is unparalleled in his deft ability to craft electrifying, deeply rhythmic sets that seamlessly span genres. There won’t be a moment of his time you’ll want to miss. On the bottom floor Berlin-based collective and label Fleisch bring to the house some Body Music, their own sound that fuses Dark Disco, electro, EBM, Italo and heavy bass in playful mixes that, well, move your body.
