- SELN x AFFXWRKS x DUST Pessimist I-sha Sam Clarke Conrad Pack + DJ Gonz Gray Of Eight Billion 11pm - 6am SELN’s first full “party” in over 2 years - returning to scene of the crime at SET Vault in Woolwich. This time inviting Bristol legend Pessimist down 106 miles to LONDON. PESSIMIST Having traversed DnB in its darkest and most exciting forms (via Blackest Ever Black, Osiris and UVB-76) Kristian Jabs aka Pessimist has not only left his mark on breakbeat but also set the bar in his own right. Dark, brooding, and yet razor sharp precise with his productions Pessimist’s sound strikes a balance between industrial & rave creating something familiar yet completely unique in the process. CONRAD PACK & DJ GONZ SELN custodians Conrad Pack & DJ Gonz will DJ holding hands for a special “we’re in this together” set. Forming SELN in 2022 both artists have been delivering techno and dub-infused industrial sonics for the last two years at an unprecedented rate (see Lost-Domain catalogue). Think soundsystem instinct and Obscurum-techno devastation conjoined at the hip. I-SHA AM resident and general overlord I-sha has been making their name upon Albion and beyond over the last few years (and more). Regularly performing at UK underground institutions and beyond their sets are often dub-enriched with noise and ritualistic progression. SAM CLARKE DUST of NYC co-founder Sam Clarke lands in directly from New York. Having run parties in NYC alongside DJ Valentimes et al Clarke’s sound is as grinding & purposeful as it is brooding. Fusing a Birmingham mentality with current noise sonics the results echo early Mills & beyond. GRAY OF EIGHT BILLION Highly active within South London music circles and runs the esteemed OSTARA event series. DJ sets often span sparse and metallic sounds grounded in house & techno.
