Ketoloco and Gradient are two of London's most staunchly underground parties and they are kicking off summer in style with an intimate All Day Summer Opening Party at 90 Hideout aka Studio 92 in Hackney Wick on Saturday 11th May. Minimal house man Astral Wayne will headline alongside Ketoloco residents Chris Halliday, Eddy Osborne and Gradient's Osmaan & Tadeusz. Tickets are free but are strictly limited to 350 for this no-nonsense 6pm till 2am celebration of true house music so get yours now.
Gradient became a London favourite by hunting out unusual spaces for their musical thrills. They have hosted all around East London in barges, woodlands and several of London’s best venues. Famously, Ketoloco first started in a student basement with no permission whatsoever and soon became the most talked about and hedonistic party in the UK. Since then it has raved in Ibizan zoos, hosted quarry parties and much more, all of which makes these two promotions perfect bedfellows and real icons of the old school do-what-you-want and do-it-yourself mentality.
Now harking back to those golden days, this unmissable party is at Hackney Wick's Number 90 Hideout (Studio92), an airy, double-height former warehouse with high windows and a terrace that backs out onto the canal. It has suitably stripped-back industrial vibes with loads of hanging plants and trippy decor dotted around to make it the perfect setting. A seriously meaty d&b Audiotechnik sound system will supply the sounds.
Gradient's Osmaan & Tadeusz are the residents and co-founders at the heart of the night's tasteful house soundtracks and Ketoloco's Chris Halliday will bring his signature mix of classics past, present and future.
This promises to be a great early summer session and another memorable chapter in the stories of Ketoloco and Gradient.
