This story begins with a special match between the NAME Festival team and the exceptional World Heritage site : Le 9-9bis.
Just about 20 minutes away from the city of Lille, an old slag heap alongside the A1 motorway leads us to the n°9 well and its twin, the n°9-bis well. These two wells are the last closed in Nord Pas de Calais mining bassin, at the beginning of 1990s.
For the NAME Festival this location was obvious, as the festival carries, in its DNA, the will of making the iconic site of our local industrial heritage vibrate .
For such an exceptional venue, we needed an exceptional dancefloor, from indie dance to industrial techno with an international line-up.
