Beneath the mountain of Velebit,
where the wind kisses the earth,
the sea caresses the rocks
and lavender fields touch up an old mine,
we will dance the Solstice and welcome summer at this unique location.
After five events held in the city of Zadar, Croatia, the sixth episode of Ritmika will take place in a raw, yet unique, romantic, and undiscovered part of the Zadar County, more precisely, in the Morlacco complex located under the mountain of Velebit in the municipality of Jasenice.
Ritmika VI, titled "Solstice", will be danced just a 30-minute drive from Zadar. There lies an old bauxite mine that once employed around 250 people and thus enabled the development of the region. With a great idea, strong will, and painstaking effort of two young people, it's been transformed into a presentation center of customs, culture, and the region's landscape. The existing infrastructure and industrial chic give a special charm to the whole complex.
Along with the unique landscape and a special calming vibe of the entire location, nature will treat us with brightest moonlight that will illuminate the beauties of this area.

Our dance oasis and home of sixth Ritmika is "Morlacco" - an old bauxite mine transformed into a presentation center showcasing the customs, culture, and the climate of the Velebit region.
On June 22nd, the full Moon will illuminate this amazing venue, making it even more special!
