  • Come dance with us in our show on Sunday, April 21 at Bunker, where we will have the pleasure of hosting a live concert by Finnish duo Aki Himanen and Aleksi Kinnunen, Berlin DJs Tereza and Mattia Prete, Angie Backtomono and Kyoto (Live). Aki Himanen & Aleksi Kinnunen - Live (Trumpet, Electronica, Drums, Fx): Trumpeter Aki Himanen and drummer Aleksi Kinnunen form an explosive duo that fuses Scandinavian jazz with the pulsating rhythms of techno music. They are constantly searching for new ways in which man and machine can create a real dialogue. Improvisation, spontaneity and musical communication are at the heart of their work. The music is dark, intense and a poetic mix full of hypnotic mental images. It is reminiscent of Scandinavian landscapes where nature and technology gently merge. A suspenseful night drive somewhere between futuristic mountains where dawn is setting and darkness fades away in a slow and wonderful way. Tereza: Tereza is a German DJ, radio host and curator currently based in Berlin. She lives for the groovy, mostly up-lifting notions of underground dance music and, with her background as a hiphop dj, has a refreshing way of telling exciting and coherent stories through her dj sets. She loves good music of various genres and getting people's bodies moving - both Bandcamp nerds as well as ravers. Mattia Prete: Mattia Prete is a Berlin-based multifaceted artist, label manager, and promoter whose highly ambitious electronic music is influenced by club styles such as techno and electronica, merged with the intricate rhythms of jazz and organic instruments. Inspired by the creativity of these genres, Prete’s work in the studio is infused with sci-fi futurism and the immersive, expansive nature of film soundtracks, resulting in a unique sound that has gained him acclaimed support from the international underground scene. Kyoto (Live): Limes Limen is the new work by Roberta Russo aka Kyoto, a new entry in the DNA Concerti roster. The entire EP revolves around the concept of Limit, in all its various forms and facets: the Latin term Limes, which has a wide semantic range, in fact means boundary line, and indicates a fortified border. Limen, while also meaning, by metonymy, border, frontier, actually means threshold and, in a figurative sense, beginning. Angie BackToMono: An incurable vinyl addict, from post punk elected as a teenage soundtrack Angie soon shifted to the black universe, starting with 7″ R&B, exotica, Latin, and moving up to funk, soul, afrobeat, and jazz in all its shades and incarnations. With the motto "I've tried with a straight bass drum, but I just can't do it," he has challenged the dancefloors of clubs and festivals over the years; as a radio DJ, he has worked with Radiophonica.com, Radio Cult, Umbria Radio.
