- This full power, free party night of underground soundscapes will unite London's clubbing community to raise funds for Medical Aid for Palestine.
- Please join us this Sunday Afternoon as we gather to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestinians. As well as an incredible line up DJs we'll also have Poets, Readers & Speakers. Poetry: Rahima K Dr Rahmeh Aladwan Shahd Mahnavi poet, activist , artist, entrepreneur & filmmaker. Ciara Haidar (singing) Lisa Moorish (poetry reading) Speakers: Sophia Beach - Anti Zionist Jewish Activist Dr Rahmeh Aladwan Samara Ali - Goldsmith Students Occupation Stella Swain - PSC Youth and Students Campaigns Officer We also have renowned speakers who will not be advertised. As a Dance Music & Creatives Community, we must come together and demand an immediate ceasefire and a lasting peace for both Palestine & Israel. Simultaneously, we can't stand by and watch the slaughter and starvation of innocent Palestinians on a daily basis, while our world leaders appear to turn a blind eye. The creative & dance music community of London was based on total equality, radical inclusion & acceptance for all. We cannot therefore sit back in silence & do nothing. We can do what we do best, dance to great music as One & use our voices to demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza so that medical aid & food can go in. Children are sick & starving. Therefore all proceeds from this event will go to Medical Aid for Palestinians. We invite you to add your voice and dance with us. All talent & speakers are playing & speaking for free - all we ask is that you make a donation by selecting what you would like to donate on the RA event page. This donation acts as a ticket & will get you entry into the event -. All monies raised in donations both online & at the door will be donated to Medical Aid For Palestinians (MAP). Even if you cannot attend this event, we would appreciate your donations. Line-up curated by Mr.C. We will also be having speakers talking about what's happening in Palestine, poetry readings, art & more. The dreadful attack by Hamas on Israel on 7 October 2023, when 1,200 Israeli citizens were k*lled in a single attack and 235 taken hostage, must and will always be condemned by all of us. The subsequent response by the Israeli government and the Israeli Defense Forces have seen the collective punishment of innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza, the wholesale destruction of infrastructure, the bombing of hospitals and schools and the targeting of journalists of which over 100 have been k*lled (Committee for the Protection of Journalist), the mass expulsions of civilians to so-called "Safe Zones". The estimated Palestinian casualties now over 34,000 of which half are reported to be children. These numbers continue to grow daily as the military operation continues and casualties on both sides of the conflict are reaching higher numbers every day. "I'm supporting this event as it's important for our fully inclusive & loving community to start to act like one. The silence from our scene of this genocide is deafening. The murder of thousands of innocent women & children is ethnic cleansing. It's heartbreaking & sickening to watch in real time. We need an immediate ceasefire so we can, at the very least, get medical aid, food & water to these poor, displaced & desperate people now in forced famine.
