  • Jeremy Cheung Beginning to learn the art of DJ-ing at 16 and till now for more than 2 decades, in his DJ sets one will find a nice blend of different genres ranging from House, Techno, Minimal, Acid, Electro, Progressive, Rave, Trance, Balearic, Soul, Indie Dance, Disco and more. Having a lifelong love for a wide spectrum of music, Jeremy delivers a rocking DJ set every time with his impressive knowledge of tunes of all sorts. Jeremy surely knows a lot about the styles of music, the labels, the re-mixers and the producers who creates these tunes. Going beyond the music he plays, Jeremy strives to surpass the art of mixing. Reviews from the clubbing scenes often mention his tight solid mixing, awesome selection and sequencing of his tunes. For those who have gone to see Jeremy’s spin before, they know that he is a DJ who knows the stuff well beyond many counterparts for a long long time! He plays regularly for top Underground clubs in Hong Kong which includes Oma, Mihn and Social Room. Besides Hong Kong, he had also performed in many other top clubs and venues around the world. The list includes La Station (Paris), Golden Gate (Berlin), Klub Famu (Prague), Faust (Seoul), .TAG (Chengdu), Savage (Hanoi) and more. He also had performed at music festivals such as Clockenflap, Sónar Hong Kong, Airhouse (South Korea), Intro Festival (Mongolia) and more. maximilian Hong Kong native maximilian had his passion for intimate music events shaped over 5 years in Scotland at the 100-person capacity venue of Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh. In a golden era where it was named in DJMag’s global top 100 clubs and hosted the likes of Moxie, Peach, Dan Shake, Earl Jeffers, Midland and DJ Boring, he developed strong values of community and interaction in club nights and at house parties hosted at his flat. He subsequently spent a year in London exploring its vinyl scene, most formatively in small canal boats along Hackney Wick where this intimate community feel thrived, and formed a bond with Parisian underground music culture and French Touch, which continues to strongly inspire his taste today. In 2022, his passion for mixing vinyl and eagerness to improve technique birthed the “Mail In A Mix” (anagram of his name) concept, where mailed records are unwrapped and immediately mixed to quickly refine skill and quick-thinking, as well as exhibit recent purchases as a sonic diary entry. Soon after, Max moved back to his hometown the week of the 宀 reopening party, and has since found a strong footing in Hong Kong’s underground with his eclectic sonic blend ranging from delicate ambient house and psychedelic minimal techno, to peak-hour deep grinding electro, punchy 90s gems and forgotten euphoric Italo anthems. With his new cosmopolitan base, he continues to pursue his journey in bridging East Asian sounds with those of Western Europe, whilst looking outwards to Australasia, the Americas and beyond.
