- Pho The Girls are very proud to present our first Sydney based Open Decks and Mixer! This is a safe space welcoming female and non-binary DJs, of all skill levels and backgrounds, to forge new friendships and expand your network within the local music community. Come along to connect with new people, share your story and bond over music. Soundtracking the night will be 5 DJ’s on our open decks: If you’d like to play- please reserve a FREE ticket via Humanitix. A link to our open deck application form will then be found in your ticket confirmation email. Applications to play will close on Friday 26th April. We’d like to give priority to newer and bedroom DJ’s and those who would benefit from getting to practise on CDJ’s and play for a crowd. This is a safe space to build confidence, ask questions and most importantly - play and have fun! We will be hosting at Splinter Factory- a wonderful inner west creative space and initiative. Tickets are free but very limited due to capacity. Please contact us or return your ticket ASAP if you cannot attend so it can be allocated to someone else. Important Information: We would like to acknowledge that this event takes place on stolen land belonging to the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation. We recognise the true custodians of this land, paying our respect to Elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded. Accessibility: the venue is up a flight of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible.
