Named by Boiler Room as one of Berlin’s best-kept secrets, Jamaica Suk has been on the forefront of breaking through the global techno scene. DJing and producing for quintessentially over a decade, she has found rising prominence for her unique brand of seamless mixing and driving, psychedelic-meets-gritty techno. Jamaica’s work has always been built on discipline, deep sonic exploration, and a passionate connection to the scene.
Hailing from San Francisco and based in Berlin, she quickly became a fixture of the German capital’s scene as well as the vast network of underground communities across Europe and internationally. She's centred her craft in the studio and behind the decks on the art of contrast - grimy industrial edge with meditative, consciousness-expanding dream worlds with no-holds-barred runaway energy. Jamaica’s voice always finds a timeless balance between the rawness of 90's techno traditions and boundary-pushing modern techniques.
Her critically-acclaimed label Gradient has been a platform for her own finely-tuned productions including releasing a 17-track quadruple-vinyl release, “Uncertain Landscape.”
