- Camp Caftan is back for 2024 and better than ever! Introducing the most stunning location we've ever come across, just 2 hours from Los Angeles and 10 minutes from Big Bear Lake. What can you expect at Camp? This is a queer campout with a focus on music, community and art, with all the amenities of a typical summer camp: mess hall, outdoor amphitheater, swimming pool, games area, hiking trails, fire pits, cabins and camping areas. Music will run from mid afternoon into the late night daily, with an after-hours stargazing ambient stage running until early morning. We'll also have community events and activities like the gayest water aerobics class this side of the Mississippi, campfire songs, a group hike, the First Annual Caftan Games, and so much more. Plus, see our website if you have ideas for activities you want to share with your fellow campers. What's New in 2024: - Dates in July for warmer temps. - An extra night of camp, with check-out on Monday Morning - Lower base ticket price, with camping or cabins available as an add-on - Meal Plan is now optional (and catered by not-camp-cafeteria cooks) - A larger pool! - More opportunities to connect with your fellow campers at your campsites, on a group hike, competing at the First Annual Caftan Games, a movie night, art showings, arts & crafts, and more activities What's Still at Camp: - Caftans - Yoga - Amazing music and vibes - Vendors hawking cute looks, jewelry, and more - Caftan Coach shuttles available for round-trip camp transportation - Third year of the talent show featuring y'all making us laugh and cry - Our Caftan Covered scholarship to help our community join us at camp - You! General Admission: $200 (early bird - until May 31st), $250 (after June 1st) -General Tent Camping: +$50 per person -Wood Platform* for elevated (literally) tent camping: +$50 per platform -Platform Tent* w/ four beds: +$300 per platform tent -Rustic Cabins* (screened in, no electricity) w/ four beds: +$400 per cabin -Deluxe Cabins* (fully indoors, electricity) w/ eight beds + $1000 per cabin Other Add Ons: -Parking: $20 per vehicle -Caftan Coach shuttle: TBA -Meal Plan* TBA *Limited quantity available for accommodations beyond general camping, meal plans, and shuttle transportation. Price is per platform/tent/cabin, purchased as a single add-on ticket. You can let us know what friends you'd like to have join you in your tent/cabin before Camp starts. Meal plan includes Friday Dinner, and Brunch/Dinner on Saturday/Sunday. All cabins and campsites will have access to bathroom facilities with toilets, sinks, and showers.
