Tomu DJ is an American musician known for her music and live performances. Hailed by KEXP as “one of the standout new electronic artists of 2021 with her transcendent, uplifting, and euphoric sound”, Tomu DJ is well on the way to sharing her music with the world. She has released over forty projects.
After landing the #21 spot on Crack Magazine’s “Best Albums of 2021” list with her debut LP FEMINISTA, Tomu DJ received further acclaim with her second full length project, Half Moon Bay on Franchise Records which featured Chicago Footwork legend DJ Manny. On top of receiving a glowing 7.9 review from Pitchfork calling it one of 2022’s “most affecting electronic records”, Half Moon Bay was also featured by NPR, Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, and many more. Her recent EP Crazy Trip was praised by FACT Mag as “breaking new ground with her next strain of unorthodox genre fusion”, and named one of the best projects of the year by Mixmag.
