- The final Dripping event before the summer festival goes all in on tripping, fluid dreamspace. Dub techno figurehead Deepchord headlines. The Michigan artist has been one of the most essential artists in the genre, crafting mesmerizing audio landscapes bolstered by throbbing groovy undercurrents. Deepchord's productions are in a class of their own, and for this edition he performs a rare live set. This will be legendary. Shifting away from the typical concert / club dichotomy, Dripping has instead programmed the night to evolve with a fluid grace. Time Wharp opens with a live set, fusing the psychedelic loop minimalism of Terry Riley with a freewheeling, exploratory compositional edge. Purelink have established themselves as modern masters of airy-but-deep downtempo, pulling the audience into an undulating, subaqueous realm. Max In The World collaborates with saxophonist Kroba for a deep groovy set that breathes with stunning spaciousness. Following Deepchord's headlining set, Gaze pick up the pieces with a more keyed up live/DJ hybrid, mixing heaving bass weight and immersive textures.
